Questions the desk hears most
01Can you tell me the cost of attendance by email?
No. The university publishes the cost of attendance each academic year, and that published figure is the one to plan with. A number typed into an email goes out of date the day the new year's figures appear, so the desk points you to the published version and confirms which year it covers.
02Can someone look at my grades and tell me my chances?
The desk does not evaluate applications informally, by phone or in writing. An advising conversation explains the routes and what the office reads. It is not a prediction, and nobody on the desk will give one.
03How do I book a campus tour in Durham?
Use the form above with "Campus visit and tour" as the kind, and give two dates that work. Tours are student-led, on foot, and run about ninety minutes. Wear shoes you can stand in. The visit is free and booked by inquiry; details are on the admissions page.
04I emailed and also filled in the form. Is that a problem?
